BULK INKS
|
NOTE:
The number of refills listed in the 6th column is figured on the average size HP or LEXMARK cartridge. You would get more refills on smaller cartridges of course. When shopping for bulk ink, don't go by what the manufacturer says you will get but compare pricing on the amount of ounces and the quality of ink you are purchasing.

8 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
It is in the interest of the manufacturer to portray the cartridges as non-rechargeable. But it is actually illegal for the manufacturer to force the customer to exclusively use the manufacturer's supplies. This is called product-linking and is illegal. Click here for more info. Some manufacturers use 'cautionary statements' to inspire fear that using someone else's supplies may damage the printer. This isn't true though. There are some good inkjet refill kit manufacturers out there who take the time to match the inks before putting the product out on the market.
The key is in having the correct ink. Correct ink is ink that is chemically identical to the original. There is no way an inkjet cartridge will be damaged if using a quality refill kit. Sometimes people fry the print head out on their cartridge, then buy a refill kit, refill the `already defective' cartridge and wonder why it isn't working. Do not keep printing if you notice a lack of ink on the paper. Take the cartridge out and get a folded paper towel. Put some hydrogen peroxide on the paper towel and put the part of the cartridge where the ink comes out of on the hydrogen peroxide to see if ink is pulled out of the sponge. If very little ink comes out after a few minutes, do not keep using the cartridge because you will burn out the print head. If you fry the print head, the inkjet cartridge is useless and no refill kit will work with a fried print head.
Our objective is to save you money on your printing needs whether it is with a refill kit, bulk inks, or compatible replacement products. North Coast Ink and Office Supplies offers many different types of inkjet refill kits for many popular printer brands.
Our inkjet refill ink is made for that cartridge.
There is a flourishing industry dedicated to recharging inkjet cartridges. If cartridges could not be recharged there would be no industry.
We offer this line of product for those who have the time to recharge their own cartridges. If you rather not mess around with a refill kit, we have killer pricing on our `compatible replacement cartridge line' that few companies can compete with in price, service, and quality. If you are an OEM (original equipment only type of person, our prices beat out two of the biggest office chains in the world (Office Max and Staples). So whatever your need, we are your source. We even buy back many of the used original equipment cartridges for our recycling program in which we will give you cash or credit your account. See our recycling page.
Correct refilling deals only and exclusively with correct ink. Injecting ink is what the manufacturer did when the cartridge was born. Injecting ink is what the user does when he recharges his/her cartridge. It's that simple.
The strategy of trying to prevent a customer from refilling an inkjet cartridge has not been successful, so far. By putting the print head right on the cartridge, many manufacturers, mainly HP and Lexmark, hope you burn the print head out so even if you refill it, it won't work. Manufacturers have devised and will continue to devise methods not only to scare but to prevent refilling. To date we have always devised appropriate counter-measures and our users are refilling their cartridges.
